Purpose 
The purpose of this workflow detail is to:
- Understand the current target-organization's processes and structure.
- Based on this understanding, refine the goals of the business-modeling effort.
The purpose is not to describe the current target-organization in detailùonly enough of it to be able to prioritize which parts of the target-organization to focus on for the remainder of the project.
How to Staff
Your business-modeling team, all acting as Business-Process Analysts, invites the stakeholderÆs representatives. This extended business-modeling team needs to cover good business domain knowledge and know how current systems are used to automate the business. The core team members need to have good facilitation skills.
